Ecommerce Fulfillment Centers

US Ecommerce Fulfillment Center Directory

By EFC Editorial · Updated · How we research

Quick answer

Use the state table below: it lists every US warehouse location published by the 27 ecommerce 3PLs in our provider dataset, across 21 states plus DC. California has the most providers with listed sites (8), then Texas (7), Pennsylvania and New Jersey (5 each), and Georgia, Illinois, Nevada and Utah (4 each). Seven providers, including Amazon MCF and Stord, run national networks without a published state list. Proximity to your customers matters more than proximity to you.

Key takeaways

  • California has 8 providers with listed sites in our dataset; Texas has 7, including Shipfusion's announced Dallas site.
  • Pennsylvania and New Jersey (5 providers each) cover the Northeast population corridor.
  • Utah hosts four providers' western nodes, including Red Stag, Tondo, Fulfillrite and ShipNetwork.
  • Amazon MCF, Walmart Fulfillment Services, Stord, Barrett, Flexport, Radial and Speed Commerce don't publish state-level warehouse lists.
  • A two-coast setup (for example, an East and a Utah or West Coast node) covers much of the US at ground speed.

Where can I find a 3PL fulfillment center near me?

Every row below comes from the warehouse locations each provider publishes (or, where noted, a press release). Linked names go to our review of that provider; linked states go to state pages.

Counts are providers per state, not buildings. Some providers run several buildings in one state (ShipBob lists five Chicago-area sites, for example).

Which states have the most ecommerce fulfillment centers?

By number of providers with listed sites in our dataset:

Rank State Providers
1 California 8
2 Texas 7
3 Pennsylvania 5
3 New Jersey 5
5 Georgia 4
5 Illinois 4
5 Nevada 4
5 Utah 4

This reflects the 27 providers we track, not every warehouse in the US. The pattern is typical of ecommerce networks: Southern California and New Jersey/Pennsylvania near ports and dense populations, Texas and Georgia for central and Southeastern reach, and Nevada and Utah for lower-cost western coverage.

Which fulfillment networks don't publish locations by state?

Provider What's published
Amazon MCF Uses Amazon's FBA network; no state list
Walmart Fulfillment Services Walmart's network; no state list
Stord 20+ omnichannel nodes + 80+ network facilities (claim)
Barrett Distribution 25+ US facilities, 6M+ sq ft (claim); HQ Franklin, MA
Flexport No facility count on its fulfillment page
Radial Enterprise network; no list in our sources
Speed Commerce City and state marketing pages, but no facility addresses

Ask these providers directly which buildings would hold your inventory. See the Stord review and Barrett review.

Do I need a fulfillment center near me?

Usually not. What drives delivery time and cost is the distance from the warehouse to your customers. A brand in Chicago with mostly coastal customers may do better with a New Jersey plus Southern California or Utah split than with a warehouse down the road.

When proximity to you does help:

  • You visit often for kitting, quality checks or photo shoots.
  • You ship large B2B orders to regional retailers.
  • You're early and want to see how your 3PL works before scaling.

For small parcels, check which states a provider covers, then model shipping zones for your customer list. Two-coast providers on this list include Tondo (DE and UT), Red Stag (TN and UT), Fulfillrite (NJ and UT) and ShipCalm (Southern CA and IN).

How was this directory built?

From our provider dataset of 27 active ecommerce 3PLs, checked on September 27, 2026, using each provider's own site or cited press coverage. Notes:

  • ShipNetwork's 12 locations come from its August 2022 press release; the current count isn't confirmed on its own site.
  • Shipfusion's Dallas site is listed as coming soon.
  • Rush Order lists Ohio and New York without cities.
  • Ryder E-commerce locations are metro areas; its 19-site count dates to the 2021 Whiplash acquisition.
  • Saltbox is a coworking-plus-warehouse hybrid with optional pick-and-pack, not a traditional 3PL.
  • ShipCalm's city names aren't published on its site.

If a provider you use is missing or out of date, the listing reflects what was published when we checked.

Frequently asked questions

How do I find a 3PL near me?

Find your state in the table above, then check each provider's review for fit. If your state isn't listed, look at neighboring states; what matters most is how many shipping zones separate the warehouse from your customers.

Are there 3PLs in Indianapolis?

In our dataset, ShipCalm operates in Indiana, but it doesn't publish the city. Ask ShipCalm where its Indiana warehouse is before assuming Indianapolis coverage.

Which state is best for a 3PL warehouse?

It depends on where your customers are. For a single site, central states (such as Texas, Tennessee, Kentucky or Pennsylvania) reach more of the population in fewer zones; many brands add a West Coast, Nevada or Utah node as they grow.

Which 3PL has the most US locations?

Of the providers that publish locations, ShipBob lists the most US sites, across ten states. Stord and Barrett claim large networks but don't publish state lists.

What is the largest 3PL in the US?

There's no neutral ranking of ecommerce 3PLs by size. Lists of the largest US 3PLs usually rank freight and contract-logistics companies, not ecommerce fulfillment specialists.
