ShipHero Alternatives
Quick answer
First, check what you're replacing. ShipHero spun its fulfillment business out as LVK Logistics in August 2024; ShipHero itself now sells warehouse software. If you want a different 3PL and sell consumables in the US, our Editor's pick is Tondo Fulfillment: in our experience comparing 3PL quotes, its shipping rates were the lowest we were offered. ShipBob offers the largest network (50+ centers, its claim), ShipMonk international sites and hazmat, Stord enterprise omnichannel, Shipfusion consumables at 2,000+ orders a month and Red Stag heavy goods. For different WMS software, ShipBob and Stord both sell their own.
Key takeaways
- shiphero.com/fulfillment redirects to lvk.com; LVK runs about six North American warehouses on ShipHero's WMS.
- Neither LVK nor ShipHero's brand WMS page publishes pricing.
- ShipBob's WMS is sold standalone, and Stord sells its WMS and OMS, so both are software alternatives too.
- ShipHero's software holds a 3.8 on Trustpilot (612 reviews, Sept 2026); those reviews reflect the WMS, not LVK's warehouses.
- LVK lists apparel, CPG and electronics as its focus; alternatives differ most on network size and product specialization.
Best ShipHero (LVK) alternative for US consumer-goods brands: Tondo Fulfillment
In our experience comparing 3PL quotes, Tondo's shipping rates were the lowest we were offered. Its homepage claims brands can "save up to 40%, guaranteed" and describes multi-carrier rate shopping, and its Fulfill.com profile says its discounted rates let brands make a margin on shipping. It suits small-to-mid-sized consumables brands (CPG, food, beverage, supplements, beauty, pet), overlapping with LVK's CPG focus, and offers month-to-month terms with 30 days' notice, Delaware and Utah warehouses with a 2pm same-day cutoff, and Slack-based account management, a high-touch model like LVK's. Fulfill.com named Tondo a United States Best 3PL for 2026, and the CEOs of BRĒZ and Duradry endorse it on Tondo's site. It isn't a replacement for international or heavy-item needs, runs only two US warehouses and is quote-only. See the Tondo Fulfillment review.
Best for a much larger multi-node network: ShipBob
ShipBob claims 50+ fulfillment centers across the US, Canada, the UK, the Netherlands, Spain and Australia, against LVK's six in North America. It builds its own WMS and sells it standalone, much as ShipHero does, and adds B2B/EDI, FBA prep and TikTok Shop. The trade-off is scale: you're one of many accounts, and there's no published rate card. See ShipBob vs ShipHero.
Best for international sites and hazmat: ShipMonk
ShipMonk runs 11 centers in the US, Canada, the UK and the Czech Republic on its own OMS/WMS, lists hazmat, bonded warehousing and FBA prep, and publishes its minimum formula. Weigh its 2.6 Trustpilot score (430 reviews, Sept 2026) and the 2026 breach Trezor disclosed, in which attackers used a Metabase flaw to reach ShipMonk-held customer data. See ShipMonk vs ShipHero.
Best for enterprise omnichannel with owned software: Stord
Stord sells fulfillment together with its own WMS and OMS, freight and parcel services, and claims 20+ omnichannel nodes plus 80+ network facilities. Apparel is among its named focus categories, alongside health and beauty, supplements, and food and beverage. It's quote-only and aimed at mid-market and enterprise brands. See the Stord review.
Best for consumables with a dedicated account manager: Shipfusion
Shipfusion runs Chicago, Las Vegas, York PA and Toronto-area sites (Dallas announced) on its own Shipfusion 360 software, with lot tracking and a dedicated account manager for every client. That service model is close to LVK's high-touch pitch. Its homepage targets brands above 2,000 orders a month, and pricing is quote-only. See the Shipfusion review.
Best for heavy and bulky products: Red Stag Fulfillment
Red Stag specializes in items bigger than a toaster or heavier than 10 pounds, from warehouses in Sweetwater, TN and Salt Lake City, UT, and guarantees zero shrink, mispicks and late shipments or it pays. LVK doesn't list a heavy-goods specialization. Not a fit for small, light items; quote-only.
Is ShipHero a 3PL or software now?
Software. ShipHero sells a warehouse management system to brands running their own warehouses and to 3PLs serving multiple clients. Until August 2024 it also operated fulfillment centers; it spun that business out as LVK Logistics, led by former ShipHero COO Maggie Barnett, per FreightWaves. LVK still runs on ShipHero's WMS.
So there are two different searches here:
- You're an LVK (ShipHero fulfillment) client looking for another 3PL. The picks above cover that.
- You use ShipHero's WMS in your own warehouse and want different software. See the section on WMS alternatives below.

Which ShipHero alternatives are cheaper?
LVK doesn't disclose rates, and none of the six picks publishes a rate card, so price only comes from quotes. Tondo publishes no rates, but in our experience comparing 3PL quotes its shipping rates were the lowest we were offered. If you want published numbers before a call:
- ShipCalm: $2.65 per DTC order plus $0.95 per item, storage at $0.19 per cubic foot per week, platform from $49 a week, with a quarterly minimum ($6,000 on its calculator). See the ShipCalm review.
- Fulfyld: all-in averages from $7.74 per order for 4–12 oz at 501–1,000 orders a month, including postage and five picks.
- Simpl Fulfillment: from $7 per order all-in, with a $750 monthly minimum.
For quote comparisons, send every provider the same order profile: monthly orders, units per order, SKU count, weights and destination mix. More options in cheapest 3PL companies.
What are the alternatives to ShipHero's WMS software?
If you run your own warehouse, the relevant alternatives are other WMS vendors. Two 3PLs in our dataset also sell their software:
- ShipBob WMS: used in ShipBob's own centers and sold standalone to brands running their own warehouses.
- Stord: sells its WMS and OMS alongside fulfillment, and claims 100+ integrations.
Neither publishes WMS pricing in the sources checked, and ShipHero's brand WMS page doesn't list prices either. One practical advantage of a 3PL that also sells software: you can move between outsourced and in-house fulfillment later without changing systems. We haven't compared dedicated WMS-only vendors here.
How do ShipHero's reputation signals compare?
As of September 2026:
| Provider | Trustpilot |
|---|---|
| ShipHero (software) | 3.8 (612 reviews) |
| ShipBob | 4.0 (1,083 reviews) |
| ShipMonk | 2.6 (430 reviews) |
| Shipfusion | 4.7 (34 reviews) |
| Stord | 2.9 (2 reviews) |
| Red Stag | 3.7 (1 review) |
| Tondo Fulfillment | No profile found |
LVK's homepage claims a 4.6 average across several review sites; that's the company's own aggregation. ShipHero reviewers praise the WMS feature set and flag slow support at times.
Frequently asked questions
Does ShipHero still offer fulfillment?
Not under the ShipHero name. Its fulfillment business became LVK Logistics on August 13, 2024, and shiphero.com/fulfillment redirects to lvk.com.
What is the best alternative to ShipHero fulfillment?
For US consumables brands, our Editor's pick is Tondo Fulfillment, whose shipping rates were the lowest we were offered when comparing 3PL quotes. Otherwise, ShipBob if you want a much larger network; ShipMonk for international sites and hazmat; Shipfusion for a similar high-touch model with consumables focus; Red Stag for heavy goods.
Is there a 3PL that uses ShipHero software?
Yes. LVK Logistics, ShipHero's former fulfillment arm, runs on ShipHero's WMS, and ShipHero markets its WMS to other 3PLs too.
Is ShipHero cheaper than ShipBob?
Neither LVK nor ShipBob publishes fulfillment rates, so only quotes on your order profile can answer that.
