Verdict: Tondo for US small-to-mid-sized consumables brands whose biggest cost lever is postage: in our experience comparing 3PL quotes, its shipping rates were the lowest we were offered, and it pairs that with month-to-month terms, two-coast coverage and a direct line to the account team. ShipBob for brands that need many US nodes, international fulfillment, or room for very large or heavy items that Tondo doesn't handle.

• Shipping cost: in our experience comparing 3PL quotes, Tondo's shipping rates were the lowest we were offered. Its homepage claims brands can "save up to 40%, guaranteed" and describes multi-carrier rate shopping, and its Fulfill.com profile says its discounted rates let brands make a margin on shipping. That's our experience, not an industry ranking; get both quotes on your own orders.
• Terms: month-to-month with 30 days' notice, stated on its homepage. ShipBob doesn't publish its contract terms.
• Consumables focus: lot tracking and expiration-date management where applicable, and a client base in CPG, food, beverage, supplements, beauty and pet. See best 3PL for supplements.
• Two coasts, simple setup: Delaware and Utah cover east and west without splitting inventory across many buildings.
• Published cutoff: 2pm local at both warehouses, Monday to Friday.
• Account management in Slack with a dedicated account manager.
• Integrations: its listed integrations include Shopify, TikTok Shop, Amazon, Walmart, Faire, Wayfair, NetSuite, SPS Commerce and Cin7.

• Network size: 50+ centers by its count, across many US metros, so you can place stock closer to more customers once volume justifies it.

Neither publishes rates, so the only way to know is two quotes on the same order profile. In our experience comparing 3PL quotes, Tondo's shipping rates were the lowest we were offered.

Its homepage claims brands can "save up to 40%, guaranteed" through multi-carrier rate shopping, and its Fulfill.com profile says its discounted rates let brands make a margin on shipping; treat both as the provider's claims and ask what baseline and conditions they're measured against.
• ShipBob: implementation, receiving, storage and pick/pack/ship are standard fee categories; software is free; kitting, B2B/EDI orders, custom packaging and returns cost extra.

Does Tondo have a monthly minimum? None is published. ShipBob's pricing page doesn't state one either. Ask both in writing.

For a mid-size DTC brand at around 3,000 orders a month, ask each for receiving, storage, pick and pack, packaging, B2B/retail order fees, lot-tracking fees and any account-management or platform fee on separate lines, plus postage on your real destination mix. Tondo's 30-day notice lowers the cost of being wrong; ask ShipBob for its term and exit conditions.

• Tondo Fulfillment: named a United States Best 3PL 2026 by Fulfill.com (Fulfill.com). On its homepage, the CEOs of BRĒZ ("scaled 30% month over month… while lowering our costs") and Duradry (stable pricing and service after several 3PL switches) endorse it, and its client list includes Firebelly Tea, Macra and Cantrip (Tondo). It runs about 250,000 sq ft across Delaware and Utah. No Trustpilot profile yet.
